So I bet you're all tired of my journals where I go through issues, but I feel like I just need to bring light to the situation I'm in. So as a few of you may know, I have a dog named Chester. Never heard of him? Well here's a picture of him:
Now, if you've read any of my past journals, you should know that I have "problems" with my stepmother.
Basically she neglects me and treats me like shit.
But recently she hasn't been stirring up much trouble for me, and so that was good, it almost made me forget how much of a scumbag she could be. I found out that she was going to finally marry my dad and I was fine with it, as long as she didn't start any bullshit.
But then today apparantly he bit my little sister and my stepmom told me to pay more attention to him and take him on walks, or else she'll get rid of him. Now here's why I think that's a bunch of shit.
1. WALKING: I've taken him on walks before, plenty of times, and he would ALWAYS get out his leash. No matter what new leash we would get him, he always would squirm out of it eventually. Eventually my dad had enough of him getting out and told me I couldn't walk him anymore. The problem here is, not only is she going against what my dad said behind his back, but she is also IGNORING the fact that he always finds a way out of his leashes!
2. MORE ATTENTION: Now this one is even more bs, so basically she told me to "play with him" more. Problem is, I already play with him! I pet him, I give him belly rubs, I even play fetch with him from time to time, and she thinks that isn't enough? She should know by now that I'm a busy person, I got school things to do, personal projects to do, and she's ignoring all that because of my dog biting my little sister's arm, which leads us to our final subject.
3. HE'S JUST BEING A DOG: Now get this, let's say somebody made the most GOD AWFUL ANNOYING NOISE in front of your face. Would you A: Ignore him, B: Cheer him on, or C: Tell him to shut up. Now I bet 90% of you all would go with C. Now my little sister was irritating my dog which caused him to bite her on the arm. He was just doing something natural for himself, but of course, favoritism is a thing, and she just so happens to view Chester as the most UNNECESSARY thing in the household, which isn't true, as he helps me sleep and cheers me up when I'm stressed. Without him, life would feel so much harder, and lonelier. And to add icing to the cake, it's HER fault my little sister got bit. She should've been WATCHING them rather than just ignoring the fact that her daughter was playing with an animal who could potentially cause some serious harm to her. Of course I bought this topic up when speaking to her, and her response was "Well some families get rid of dogs.".
What a load of shit.
